The Bedstuy Block Association (TBA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and home to the Tompkins Block Association, a community-led initiative founded by residents, business owners, and creatives rooted in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

Built on connection, collaboration, and care, we bring neighbors together to strengthen community ties, support local enterprises, celebrate neighborhood culture, and preserve the rich history and character that make Bedstuy special.

We believe Bedstuy's future should honor its past, protect its cultural identity, and create opportunities for the people and communities who have shaped this neighborhood to remain, thrive, and grow.

Through public art, community gatherings, collective action, and special initiatives, we bring longtime residents and new neighbors together to build relationships, share resources, and take an active role in shaping our neighborhood's future.
