Our Work
Our work reflects TBA's mission to celebrate Bedstuy's cultural legacy, strengthen neighborhood connections, and create opportunities for our community to thrive.
From BedStuy, With Love Mural
What began as an idea in spring 2026 became a reality by summer 26’ through community donations, the creativity and dedication of local artists, and the support of neighbors and community allies. The From Bed-Stuy, With Love community mural was unveiled at our first annual block party as a lasting tribute to Bedstuy's rich cultural legacy and the importance of preserving its identity for generations to come. This mural is intended to spark connection, conversation, memory, and imagination. It’s about preserving the spirit while also creating space to think deeply about the future we want for this community.
Community Gatherings
We're dedicated to creating spaces for neighbors to connect, build meaningful relationships, and celebrate community. These gatherings bring longtime residents and new neighbors together, strengthening the bonds and sense of belonging that make Bedstuy special.
Neighborhood Initiatives
Through neighborhood-focused initiatives like Shop Bedstuy for the Holidays, we uplift local enterprises, encourage intentional community investment, and celebrate the businesses and entrepreneurs that contribute to Bedstuy's cultural and economic vitality.
